    The prices below (in NZ$) include

• Return airfare as above (RAR-MGS, MGS-RAR),
• Airport transfers on Mangaia,
• Accommodation for 10 nights as above and
• Three meals (Full Board) at Ara Moana Bungalows.

 A.     Spacious Bungalow (3.4m x 4.8m) $2090 per person (double occupancy)  sold out

 B.      Standard Bungalow (2.4m x 3.6m) $1670 per person (double occupancy)

 C.     Budget Bungalow (2.4m x 2.4m with no facilities) $1890 (single occupancy) sold out

  Another option

  We will provide a small number of 2-person or 3-person tents for those who are unable to find other  accommodation.  The price includes accommodation, the use of the shower/toilet facilities and transfer from and to Mangaia Airport. The restaurant is of course also available, but meals are extra. It is assumed the the guests make their own arrangement for the local flights.

  Cost of tent accommodation:

  D. Single person: $150 for up to 3 nights and $25 per night thereafter

  E. Two persons: $210 for up to 3 nights and $35 per night thereafter

  We can provide optional sleeping bags for an additional $20 per night per bag.

   We invite prospective visitors to make booking applications. Preference will be given to applications conforming to the above structure, but will otherwise be on a first come, first served basis.

   Once the accommodation has been confirmed we expect payment in full via credit card (MC or VISA) or by other means. Should for any reason (e.g. fire, plague etc.) we, the accommodation provider, be unable to provide the service offered or equivalent, the amount will be refunded. 

   Should the holder of confirmed accommodation (e.g. due to sickness, death etc.) wish to withdraw, the accommodation unit will be offered again. If the proceeds form the new booking exceeds or equals that of the previous booking, the previous reservation holder will be refunded in full. If the new booking fetches less, the previous reservation holder will be refunded this lesser amount. 

   Should the party of the reservation holder fail to arrive during the time set for the service to be provided, the payment is forfeited.

    If you miss out this will not necessarily be the end. We are continuously looking for private housing for more visitors. Most local people are not yet ready to commit to this but we are confident that we will succeed in finding some. When that happens we will notify unsuccessful applicants and successful applicants who have expressed a preference for private housing of the availability and cost of these houses. 

   Currently we are in negotiation with the owners of the following private properties for their use during the eclipse. Please feel free to express interest in any of the private properties below.

      Grey House         $1550 per person (tentatively) suits a party of 6  (sold out)

Orange House      $1550 per person (tentatively) suits a party of 4

Red House           $1400 per person (tentatively) suits a party of 4 to 8
